How do you manage stress?
There are so many ways you can manage stress nowadays. Each person is different so your preferences on stress management will vary. Instead we'll take an approach that could be applied in a variety of circumstances.
First, work to identify what is causing your stress. One example, perhaps you are working too many hours and are burning out.
Second, consider a strategy to help you cope with the stress you've identified. Perhaps you need to scale back on your workload and delegate some tasks.
Third, build activities you enjoy into your life. Ask yourself, what activities bring me joy, satisfaction or creativity? Visit these things regularly as part of your stress management repertoire.
Other stress management solutions could include physical and mental care like working out, nutrition, journaling, meditation etc...
If you're having difficultly determining your stress or a strategy- talk it out with with a trusted friend, family member, or therapist.
As you journey through your stress, try not to be too hard on yourself. Take it just one stressor, one day at a time.
