How do you process difficult situations?
It’s been 2 years since we’ve entered a pandemic. How many of us have actually processed all the ways this has impacted our lives? The pandemic has touched every sphere of our experience be it global, environmental, career & office culture, family life, and personally too. There is a collective trauma that is easily forgotten by our busy corporate culture. We push ahead as though nothing ever happened…
What we’re finding is that silencing this trauma is detrimental to forward movement.
Let’s ask ourselves, What are we afraid to process? Are we too eager to push the last 2 years aside as if it never happened? What is your visceral reaction to these words? Can you answer honestly?
Finally, How can you, as an individual and a team, create space for uncomfortable feelings? Can you welcome our emotions simply as neutral messengers that are trying to communicate something?
How can you pause to reflect in order to move forward?
