Do you know how to give constructive feedback?

Ever wondered how you can communicate feedback better? We've got three tips for you from Adam Grant that we felt we must re-iterate.

The Basic Principles of Constructive Feedback are as follows:

1. "Before you give feedback, ask if they want to receive it." Ask yourself, Is this person open & receptive to what I want to share?

2. "Be clear that you believe in their potential and care about their success." No one can receive feedback well if all that is communicated is what they need to improve. People need to have others believe in them & their potential.

3. "Be as candid as possible in what you say, and as thoughtful as possible in how you say it." Use specific examples in areas they need improvement. Generic or non-specific examples may be confusing.
