Do you actively love?

Whether the origins of Valentine’s Day align with you or not, one cannot deny it pays tribute to caring for those in your life, celebrating yourself, and thinking about love on a larger scale. Here are a cluster of questions that explore how we can actively love.

Cherishing a Friend

  1. How can I show my friend how I love them? Idea: Think of their unique interests.

  2. What does this season look like for them? Exercise stepping out of your typical gift giving patterns and step into your friend's world.

Individual Care

  1. What is an activity I can plan on Valentine's day that honors me?

  2. How can I individually reflect on love this holiday? People say that the world will be saved by love- what could that look like?

Celebrating in a Group

  1. What local activities can we participate in? Do any sound fun to bring a group of friends to?

  2. Do my friends need an intimate group setting? Perhaps a small game night even if over Zoom? Is this something I can plan & execute or ask for help in the delivery?

Loving those Closest to You

  1. What does my person need to feel seen and appreciated right now?

  2. What are words I don't typically say that could be shared this season?

Consider how you can actively love this holiday.
