Ryan is a leadership coach, licensed psychotherapist, and professor of clinical psychology who helps executives and emerging leaders strengthen self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and relational effectiveness. With over a decade of experience in clinical psychology, coaching, and leadership development, he equips leaders and teams to navigate complexity, build trust, and take meaningful action forward.
Ryan’s coaching blends psychological insight with practical leadership strategy to help clients deepen self-awareness, improve communication, manage conflict, and cultivate healthy organizational culture that promotes collaboration. His approach integrates the depth of therapeutic understanding with the forward focus of coaching, supporting both personal and professional growth.
Before his work as a therapist and coach, Ryan spent more than ten years in higher education leading student development initiatives centered on mentoring, character formation, and leadership. He brings that same holistic and people-centered perspective to his work with clients today.
Ryan earned a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University and a Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation from Talbot Theological Seminary. He also incorporates the Enneagram into his coaching as a tool for deepening self-awareness and improving team dynamics.
Ryan lives in Costa Mesa, California, with his wife, son, and twin daughters.
